The Terrace – Function Room

Step in to the newly refurbished and clasically designed Terrace for your next event. Catering for all event types from birthdays, engagements, weddings, wakes, corporate functions, Christmas parties and expo’s. Let our Event Manager design your next event and make it a truly memorable occasion.

With an old style fire place, ornate ceilings, a gorgeous vine enclosed alfresco area and fully serviceable marble bar The Terrace has all of your event requirements. Wi-Fi access, the latest Sonos Audio System, 2x flat screen TV’s and a range of catering options for you to choose from such as The Gourmet Chef and The Black Stump.

  • Classroom – 90 Guests
  • Dinner – 70 Guests (10/table)

 

Room Hire Pricing

$350.00 per event which includes; setting up of all furniture and dinnerware and cleaning. If you intend on styling or decorating the interior for your event, Management will require 24hours notice to arrange prior access to the room before the event, displays and fixtures under no circumstances are allowed to be affixed to the walls, ceilings or adjacent foyer area unless agreed to by Management.Other prices may include:

  • Linen hire – $9.00 per cloth
  • Audio System (Sonos) – $300
  • Tea/Coffee Station – $3.50 per person 1/2 day
    $6.00 per person full day

Catering Options

Catering options include; The Black Stump Bistro or The Gourmet Chef. All Catering can be tailored to suit the event requirements, budget and also dietary requirements. Menu options include; Finger Food Menus, Barbeque, Carvery and Sandwich Menus, Corporate Lunch Menus, Buffet Menus and Speciality Menus are also available. All Catering and Menus can be arranged to suit 10-150 guests.

Confirmation & Cancellation

To confirm all bookings The Terrace requires confirmation via email or mail within 48 hours of initial correspondence. Bookings are held for a maximum of 48 hours and a room hire deposit must be paid on confirmation of your booking. All cancellations must be received in writing an in the event that a cancellation is made, Management must be notified immediately and deposits hire fees are non refundable.

Damages & Loss

The person/persons holding the event is responsible for any damages caused on prior setup, during or after a function. The Terrace Management and Staff will take all possible care to protect the property of its guests, but accepts no responsibility for any loss of or damage to merchandise or other property prior to, during or after the event. Upon hosting a function, the host must accept responsibility for the consequences of behaviour within the premises.

Admittance

Guests must be suitably attired and entry is conditional upon guests accepting responsibility for the consequences of their behaviour within the premises. We reserve the right to refuse entry and strictly comply with the Liquor Control (Reform) Act 1998. Guests under the age of 18 years are required by law to be accompanied by a parent or guardian and are to vacate the venue accompanied by their parent or guardian by 10.30pm.

Outdoor Area

With bi-fold doors opening out onto a stunning private alfresco area, The Terrace is the perfect setting for your guests to enjoy the function outside in a private and intimate setting that is only accessible to guests. The Outdoor Area is ideal for guests to use for smoking and are required to dispose of all cigarette butts in the supplied ashtrays. Alternatively, guests can enjoy the function surrounded by a beautiful setup while having a drink with friends.
